Michael Moynihan is a sportswriter with the Irish Examiner. Before that he was a civil servant in the Oireachtas, and before that a teacher in California. He has written for the Evening Echo, the Washington Post, Observer Sport Monthly and other publications; he has also written comedy for RTE radio and television and Today FM. He co-wrote ‘Candidate: Diary of an Election Candidate’ with Jerry Buttimer last year, and his new book, Blood Brothers: The Inside Story of the Cork Hurlers 1996-2008′ is out this year.
